Pooping Troubles
Constipation occurs when your bowel movements are difficult or less frequent than normal.

It happens to most people at some point in life, and it may resolve on its own. If you're going more than three days without pooping, you're probably constipated.

Constipation can come from changes in your life and diet:

  • Travel
  • Not enough water
  • Not enough fiber
  • Stress
  • Pregnancy
  • Eating a lot of dairy
  • Consuming calcium-based antacids
  • Certain medications
  • Not enough activity
There are other factors that can impact your bowel movements. There could be a colon condition, nervous system issue, or thyroid problem causing the constipation. You may need to see a doctor if your symptoms persist for more than two weeks.
