The Health & Self-Esteem Connection
Many individuals today are plagued with low self-esteem.

If you're experiencing anxiety, social withdrawal, and emotional angst, you may be suffering as well.

Markers of low self-esteem include the inability to see yourself correctly. You may tend to treat yourself badly, but you don't treat others badly. Many individuals eventually develop conditions like eating disorders.

Overcoming this is not as easy as someone reassuring you that you're "wonderful." You have to learn to develop a healthier sense of self on your own. It won't (and shouldn't) happen overnight. It takes time.

When you achieve a healthy level of self-esteem, your well-being will improve overall... mentally, emotionally and physically.

Listen in as Dr. Joyce Knudsen joins host Lisa Davis to explain how your self-esteem directly impacts your health, as well as tips for boosting your self-esteem by getting to the root of your self issues.
