Guest Bio: Cassandra Carlopio, MA
Cassandra-CarlopioCassandra Carlopio, a licensed Psychologist in Australia, has been teaching mindfulness meditation and yoga nidra in the community and throughout various addiction treatment centers in Southern California.

Cassandra comes from a diverse background of experience, including research, private practice with a focus on trauma, and her experience of studying and teaching iRest Yoga Nidra. Drawing on her clinical and personal experience, Cassandra teaches clients to release limited thinking, unwind stress, reduce anxiety and depression, reduce chronic and acute pain, and increase their innate sense of peace and well-being.

More recently, Cassandra has been incorporating education about sleep and napping into her work in recovery, having found that many clients are struggling to get to sleep. Including the science of sleep, sleep hygiene, Cassandra teaches specific relaxation strategies to help people access a deep state of restorative sleep.

In addition to her work in treatment center, Cassandra works privately with clients, and teaches a three-hour monthly yoga nidra workshop, The Deep Dive, in Santa Monica.
