Dr. Mimi Secor has been a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, specializing in Women’s Health, for over 40 years.

She is a popular National Speaker and Consultant, educating advanced practice clinicians and consumers around the country and the world.

Dr. Secor is a 2015 graduate of the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions where she earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.  

Dr. Secor is a visiting scholar at Boston College William F. Connell Graduate School of Nursing and a guest lecturer at various NP programs in New England and around the country. She has also published extensively, including her NEW 2014 co-authored textbook, Advanced Health Assessment of Women; Skills and Procedures, and her 2012 co-authored textbook, Fast Facts About the Gynecologic Exam for Nurse Practitioners: Conducting the GYN Exam in a Nutshell.

She has years of media experience including as a national radio host of the NP program, Partners in Practice on ReachMD. She has also been a guest on Good Morning America, interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe and many others. Dr. Secor has received several awards, including the 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Massachusetts Coalition of Nurse Practitioners (MCNP).
