It’s important to develop an awareness-based practice where you can listen to your heart. That may be through mindfulness, meditation, walks or prayer. You can control your own mind and how you react when the world around you is troubled.

You can ease into a meditative state. Start slowing down. Feel your breathing so you can associate with your body.

Be compassionate toward yourself. Don’t take on more than you can handle.

Listen as Spring Washam joins Dr. Holly Lucille to share how you can ground yourself when faced with difficult circumstances.
