Merzer is also a playwright and screenwriter, having most recently completed a screenplay from Mad Cowboy. He has been a vegetarian for 40 years and a vegan for the last 20.

If you're new to the world of vegetarian and vegan eating, you may not completely know the difference between the two.

Vegetarians steer clear of flesh-based animal foods, such as beef, chicken, fish, etc. but still consume other animal products such as dairy or eggs.

Vegans refrain from eating any sort of animal product.

In this segment, Glen Merzer joins Andrea and Lisa to share his path to veganism, staring at age 17, as well as the inspiration behind the Happy Cow website (happycow.net).
