Water Woes
It’s an ongoing mantra of health advocates everywhere: drink more water!

After all, drinking an adequate amount of water, at least half of your body weight in ounces every day, helps you maintain a healthy weight, flushes toxins and waste out of your body, aids with digestion and the absorption of nutrients, and keeps your cells hydrated.

But, what’s really in the water coming out of your tap? Environmental toxics expert Andria Ventura from Clean Water Action joins Dr. Jeff for a lively discussion of how the water you drink is regulated and why current laws may not be enough to keep you safe.
