Dr. Travis is a board-certified Emergency Medicine Physician, but most people know him from being the host of the award-winning talk show, The Doctors. He graduated magna cum laude from Duke University as a Phi Beta Kappa member and earned his M.D. from the University of Virginia. As a result of his experiences as an ER physician, he is passionate about teaching people simple methods of preventing illness. His goal is to help people maximize their time spent enjoying life and minimizing time spent as a “patient.” He is an avid outdoorsman who loves mountain biking, hiking, and kayaking and recently became a father, he loves nothing more than to spend his spare time with his beautiful wife and incredible son.  (Who will turn 1 in June 2021.)
