5 Simple Keys to Eating Better
If you were told that you could improve your eating - and your health - simply by following five simple key strategies, wouldn't you jump on board?

Well, here's your chance.

Special guest, Jared Koch, joins Andrea and Lisa to share these easy tips for improving your nutrition, and thus your health, immediately.

#1: Bio-Individuality
There is no perfect diet or "right" way to eat for everyone. The foods that are right for your body may be different from that of your significant other. You need to find out which foods work best for YOUR body.

#2: Quality overrides quantity
As Jared says, "Don’t count your calories, make your calories count." It's important to shift your focus from counting calories to the importance of the quality of food you eat. Aim for more whole and organic foods, avoid chemicals and processed foods, focus on the quality of ingredients.

#3: Eat Plant-Based Foods
This does NOT mean you have to be vegetarian or vegan. It just means that the majority of your diet should be vegetables... high-nutrient-dense foods that will give your body what it needs.

#4: Consume Animal-Based Foods in a Mindful Manner
If you do eat animal foods, be aware of their origin. Are they grass-fed? Free-range? Be mindful of how often you eat animal foods, and the portions.

#5: Reduce Processed Foods
Try to reduce your intake of processed and packaged foods. But, if you do happen to indulge in something "bad," don't beat yourself up about it. Guilt around eating is a dangerous pitfall in which to fall.

Learn more about these tips with Jared, Andrea and Lisa in this informative segment.
