Ahhhh, Thanksgiving dinner. For many, this feast is filled with rich, fattening foods.
Oftentimes, the holidays give you an excuse to have an "all or nothing" mindset when it comes to the healthiness and quality of food you're consuming.
But you don't have to sacrifice quality of food for taste.
Certified health coach, Jenny Sansouci, joins Andrea and Lisa to share some healthy alternatives to your traditional Thanksgiving fare.
For instance, aim for a free-range, organic turkey. Not only will you be saving yourself from antibiotic and potential GMO exposure, but these birds taste much better as well.
Try cauliflower mashed potatoes instead of the real ones... season them right, and you'll never know the difference.
What about stuffing? With the advent of gluten-free and grain-free breads, you can make a much healthier alternative. Or, try composing a stuffing with quinoa, brown rice or wild rice.
