Beat Multiple Sclerosis: Paleo & Functional Medicine
Over 2.1 million people are living with multiple sclerosis, or MS.

Dr. Terry Wahls is one of them.

The difference between Dr. Wahls and others who might be suffering, however, is that she did not accept her diagnosis as a death sentence.

Quickly after her diagnosis, she was facing the possibility of becoming bedridden. She began to do research and came up with a nutrient-dense diet designed specifically for brain cells and mitochondria. She immediately implemented this diet along with various other techniques.

Within three months, Dr. Wahls could walk with a cane. Within six months she could walk without a cane.

And in nine short months after implementing these changes, she was able to complete an 18-mile bike ride with her family.

Yeah.

Based on her own experience, Dr. Wahls developed what is referred to as the "Wahls Protocol."

This protocol is a combination of nutrition and other functional medicine to address MS, as well as other types of autoimmune diseases like IBS, psoriatic arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, Lupus, and even traumatic brain injury and Parkinson's.

The protocol primarily uses a Paleo-based diet, with high-quality protein and nutrient-dense vegetables.

Dr. Wahls joins Andrea to share more about her experience, as well as how you can use her techniques to address your own health issues.
