Curcumin: A Natural Way to Lower Your Cholesterol
You may already be familiar with the amazing healing benefits curcumin has to offer, but did you know it could also improve your cholesterol?

Curcumin, the main spice found in turmeric is a spice that is grown in tropical regions of Asia and has a history over 4,000 years of being used as an herbal remedy. Recent research suggests curcumin may help lower your cholesterol.

In the study, researchers divided 65 patients into two randomized groups: 33 patients were given a curcumin extract capsule, and 32 patients were given a placebo. Researchers wanted to observe the effects of taking curcumin daily for 12 weeks on patients' weight, glucose, and lipid profiles.

Researchers found that the 33 patients who were given the curcumin extract showed lowered lipid levels, but the extract had no effect on weight or glucose levels.
