According to the American Cancer Society, in 2015 approximately 231,840 new cases of invasive breast cancer will be diagnosed. Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in women.
Typically, women are encouraged to have annual mammograms in order to detect the early warning signs of breast cancer.
