Do you have four minutes a day to spend on yourself?
Shemane Nugent is here to tell you that’s all you need to build the life of your dreams.
In 2001, Shemane developed a life-threatening illness after discovering that her home, once featured on MTV Cribs, was contaminated with toxic mold. She was able to heal herself and her family through miraculous alternative remedies, which she now shares with readers in her Amazon-best seller, 4 Minutes a Day, Rock ‘n Roll Your Way to HAPPY.
“Deep down inside, there is a part of us that wants more, dreams of more, and expects more, but it’s difficult to express what’s in our hearts and souls,” Shemane explains. “This book can be a journal for you to recall your triumphs and obstacles in as much detail as you’d like, and it can also help you discover your true path in life.”
As a group fitness instructor, motivational speaker and TV producer, Shemane is on a mission to help people make a positive impact on their health and overall well-being. Her new book offers practical tips for weight loss, nutrition, dealing with negative people, the power of pets, what to do when you are sad, the benefits of sex, and more.
Shemane’s passion for helping others goes beyond fitness and health. She and her husband, rock ‘n roll legend Ted Nugent, created a charity called Freedom’s Angels, which helps wounded soldiers and their loved ones. They also support Operation Finally Home and K9s for Warriors, organizations that help veterans in need.
Listen in as Shemane and Ted chat with Dr. Friedman about her new book, as well as their secret to optimal health.
