Women & Heart Disease
Heart disease is the number-one killer of women. How can you deal with a heart disease diagnosis?

Patient advocate Cynthia Brown didn’t have much information or guidance when she received her diagnosis after a heart attack years ago.

Through self education, Cynthia learned about heart disease and how to advocate for herself. She now educates patients.

Heart attack symptoms include:

  • Difficulty breathing
  • Extreme fatigue
  • Radiating chest pain that can be felt in the back
  • Left arm numbness
  • Nausea
  • Jaw pain
  • Neck and shoulder pain
Learn to speak up for yourself and advocate for your own health. Find a doctor who will listen to you.

Listen as Cynthia joins host Lisa Davis to share her experiences as a woman with heart disease and how to advocate for your health.
