As a young teen, Dr. Patrick Flynn was labeled "troubled and hyper" by his teachers. Doctors believed it to be behavioral, but eventually it was revealed that his hyperactivity (now considered ADHD) had deeper physiological causes.
Dr. Flynn worked diligently to heal his own body, and when he met his now wife and learned she believed she could not bear children, he expanded his medical knowledge into the area of hormones and fertility in order to help her as well.
It worked, and now Dr. Flynn and his wife have four beautiful daughters.
The key point Dr. Flynn is trying to spread, is that diagnosis is not cut and dry. There are different ways to think about a medical problem.
With this mentality, Dr. Flynn has grown The Wellness Way, which is a network of people across the U.S. It is comprised of practitioners but also staff, partners and patients.
The goal is for people to come together, think differently, take control, and get results.
Listen as Dr. Flynn joins host Lisa Davis to discuss The Wellness Way approach and how it has helped countless patients.
