Chemicals in Food Can Affect Your Child's Hormones
Pesticides, plasticizers and product additives contain endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs) that act like synthetic hormones and throw off your body's natural hormonal system.

The FDA currently allows six such hormones in your food supply, including estradiol, estriol, testosterone and progesterone – the sex hormones that can accelerate the age at which puberty occurs.
