Itching To Get Outside During COVID? Try Nordic Pole Walking

If you're going stir crazy during this pandemic, you're not alone! And even as we enter the fall and winter months, getting outside is the best way to beat the need to get outside of your house.

Well if you're tired of just walking around your neighborhood, or doing yoga in your house, have you ever thought of nordic pole walking?

Today, we're talking to Lorne Opler. He is an Adjunct Professor in Nutrition at Seneca College in Toronto and holds a Master's Degree in Health Education and Health Promotion from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a certified personal trainer,  public speaker, and fitness writer.

He joins Dr. Susanne to talk about nordic pole walking, all the gear you may need to level up your hiking game, and why it's the best workout the great outdoors can give you!
