Some retro trends are better left in the past, but other trends are making their way back into daily life.

Some crazy things are coming back 'in' again, so what's coming back in the fitness world?

There are many 'old favorite' fitness trends making their return to pop culture. This back-to-basics approach can really mean retro-style training techniques, such as jumping jacks, push-ups, and sit ups.

We are realizing  that many of the old-school training concepts, like climbing ropes, running laps, and just jumping around are some of the most effective ways to train. 

One component that seems to be making a strong comeback, are exercise videos. However, now instead of popping in a Jane Fonda workout, people are using their cable systems and the internet to bring up exercise programs On Demand.
A pedometer senses your body motion and counts your footsteps. This count is converted into distance by knowing the length of your usual stride. Wearing a pedometer and recording your daily steps and distance is a great motivating tool
