brian levineDr. Brian M. Levine began his medical career in 1974, after graduating from The University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, Florida. He then completed a Pediatric internship and residency at Childrens Hospital of Los Angeles in 1977. After six years of private pediatric practice in Orange County, California, Dr. Levine next completed an Anesthesiology residency program at The University of California, Irvine, as well as a Pediatric Anesthsia and Intensive Care Fellowship at The Children's Hospital Boston. Dr. Levine is Board Certified in both Pediatrics and Anesthesia. His clinical experience encompasses 30 years of caring for both pediatric and adult patients.

He has been a member of The American College of Chest Physicians, The American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, The American Academy of Pediatrics and The American Society of Anesthesiology.  He has also been a member of the Cough Task Committee of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.

In 2005, Dr. Levine realized that his extensive experience in airway management could be beneficial in the treatment of patients with a persistently troublesome cough. He then became the founder and Medical Director of The Cough Center, located in Orange County, California. The Cough Center remains today as the only independent clinic in the USA dedicated, entirely, to the treatment of cough.

The establishment and success of The Cough Center has represented a new direction in healthcare. Dr. Levine has become a leading expert and lecturer in cough management in the United States. He has been interviewed by numerous television stations and participated in several radio interviews across the country.

Dr. Levine is devoted to providing solutions and guidance to millions of Americans who suffer from respiratory problems, especially persistent cough.
How to Stop Your Chronic Cough
A cough that has lasted for more than eight (8) weeks is termed a "chronic cough."  A cough that lasts this long is not only annoying, but worrisome.

There are many different triggers that can cause a cough, from environmental factors to medical issues.
