Kundalini Yoga: Exercises for Empowerment
Kundalini yoga, often referred to as the "King" of yogas, can make you feel energized, empowered and radiant.

Many exercises in the first series of Kundalini are done seated, in order to connect to the earth. This style of yoga is extremely grounding and can reduce anxiety and bring you to a place of security and confidence.

The breathing differs from other yoga styles in that you take very short blasts of breath; a quick inhale and quick exhale... sort of like rapid gunfire with your breath. This type of breathing not only helps to calm the mind, but it also creates a heat within your body that can help you detox.

Kundalini is safe for people of all ages and fitness levels, or if you're coming back from an injury.

In this segment of Naturally Savvy, fitness and yoga expert, Jennifer Kries, explains the health benefits of this slow-paced style of yoga and how you can utilize it in many areas of your life, health and wellness.
