Better than Sex: The Ecstatic Art of Awakening Coaching
Have you ever had someone say to you, "Wake up!"

What they typically mean is that you need to stop doing something, or thinking a certain way, and come to a greater realization.

In a way, that's what "awakening" is, and what is achieved through awakening coaching.

In these days, when there is so much insecure news, with terrorism growing across the middle east, deadly diseases taking over entire countries, and civil unrest, awakening becomes more and more important, relevant and urgent.

So, what exactly is awakening?

It involves recognizing who you are, deeper than the usual procession of thoughts and reactive feelings.

Now, that sounds like it might be a bit complicated. But, it's not something that you have to have years of practice to achieve. It is available, constantly, right in this moment.

Awakening also involves you becoming curious about your own presence, with moments and tastes of accessing your true nature, beyond the incessant worry of the mind. You will discover a sense of peace, and that who you are is the solution to every problem.

This process is extremely predictable, reliable and scientific. Awakening coaches guide people into a recognition of a sense of well-being that is incredibly stable and not subject to the usual ebbs and flows of daily life.

How does it differ from, say, a typical meditation?

For so long, there have been too many "one size fits all" approaches: everybody chant this mantra, everybody breathe in this way, everybody eat bean sprouts and tofu... it just doesn't work like that. Everybody following the same recipe simply doesn't work out.

What's more effective is to flip the typical solutions around and drill deep into your own presence in this moment. You are the star of your own movie; you're not an extra in somebody else's movie.

But first you have to start realizing what it is you want, and who you really are.

What is your life about? What is your deepest longing? Be aware of the ready-made answers that you've been fed for so long, such as "I want to make money and be successful," or "I want to have a happy family life."  The answers must go much deeper than that.

Why are you here? Why are you in a human body? What is the purpose of your life?

When you can connect with these questions, and truly find the real answers, you'll light up with any number of feelings, from true relaxation and release of stress to completely energized and creative.

When you tap into this, your well-being comes from who you are, rather than what happens to you. And, when you come to this realization, it's far easier to weather the storms of life and actually make a huge contribution to the world around you.

Tune in as awakening coach and author, Arjuna Ardagh, joins Lisa to share what awakening is, how you can start to work towards it, and why it is so important at this point in your life.
